The Division of General Inpatient Pediatrics at Penn State Children’s Hospital, Department of Pediatrics is seeking to hire a full-time pediatric hospitalist to join the division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to practice inpatient pediatrics and provide service at Moses Taylor Hospital in Scranton, PA. He/she will join five other academic pediatric hospitalists at Moses Taylor Hospital. The candidate will be expected to have and maintain up to date NRP, BLS and PALS certification. As a member of an academic division(s), at an academic medical center, there are ample opportunities to initiate and participate in scholarly projects. Prior hospitalist experience is helpful, but not required. Experience with newborn circumcision required. Applicants should either be BC/BE in Pediatrics or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics. Past clinical experience as a hospitalist or completion of a hospital medicine fellowship is preferred. The Penn State Milton S.
