RWJBarnabas Health is currently seeking two pediatric hematologist/oncologists to join The Children’s Hospital of New Jersey at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. We are looking for both an experienced physician for the role of Division Director as well as a junior attending to join 3 other physicians.The Division treats a wide range of both hematologic and oncologic disorders. We are a full member of the Children’s Oncology Group and past 3 years have averaged approximately 60 new oncology patients per year. We are also a comprehensive center and the leader for treatment of sickle cell disease in New Jersey, as well as a State and Federally designated Hemophilia program.The practice is well-supported by an array of specialists with strong clinical collaboration. Physicians interested in clinical research are encouraged to apply as the Division regularly participates in clinical studies. Finally, as part of the faculty at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, the position includes support of our accredited Pediatrics residency program as well as other didactic responsibilities. Applicants must be fellowship trained in pediatric hematology/oncology, and board-certified/eligible, ideally with active NJ license.
