The Division of Academic General Pediatrics at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center and Children’s Hospital is seeking a talented physician for a growing complex care program. The complex care service will provide both primary care and consultative care for children with medical complexity (CMC) in the inpatient and outpatient settings. CMC include children with reliance on medical technology (g-tubes, tracheostomies) as well as children with complex medical conditions leaving them medically fragile and at high risk for frequent hospitalizations. The candidate will join two physicians and three RN care coordinators to provide comprehensive care for this unique patient population. Experience with caring for CMC is valuable and a passion for caring for this population is essential. Interest in scholarly activity and teaching medical students and residents is also required. Pediatricians with all levels of experience are encouraged to apply though academic rank will be commensurate with experience and record of scholarly accomplishments.
