East Tennessee State University seeks a Pediatric Behavioral Specialist at the level of Assistant Professor. Clinical functions include: working as part of an interprofessional team, providing brief behavioral interventions in an integrated primary care environment, supervising and developing a student behavioral health consultant program in the clinic, and help with quality improvement initiatives in the clinic. Educational functions include: hallway consults with providers, lectures as needed, in-depth clinical training of second year residents in developmental and behavioral Pediatric rotation, on-site supervision of Psychology students, and assistance with social work student supervision. Position is contingent on external funding.
Ph.D. in Psychology Training in Pediatric Psychology and providing brief interventions in a primary care setting. Must be eligible for a TN license at time of hire.
