Valley Children’s Healthcare, one of the nation’s largest pediatric healthcare networks, is rapidly expanding to serve the needs of growing families throughout California’s golden Central Valley. We’re seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatricians to join our regional team of Pediatric Hospitalists in Sacramento, California’s capital city.
Valley Children’s began as the vision of five women who saw the need for a dedicated pediatric hospital in California’s Central Valley. Now one of the largest pediatric healthcare networks in the nation, Valley Children’s Healthcare provides Central California’s only high-quality, comprehensive care exclusively for children, from before birth to age 21.
This independent, nonprofit network offers highly specialized medical and surgical services to treat conditions ranging from common to the most unusual and complex at our medical facilities that include a 358-bed main children’s hospital and three neonatal satellite locations, as well as through partner hospitals, specialty care centers and primary care services. With more than 550 physicians and 3,000 staff, Valley Children’s partners with other providers and organizations throughout our 11-county, 45,000-square-mile service area to support delivering the best care to kids closer to home. In affiliation with Stanford University School of Medicine, Valley Children’s Pediatric Residency and fellowship programs provide first-class training for the next generation of pediatricians and pediatric subspecialists.
This position offers a strong financial compensation package, including relocation and signing bonus. Responsibilities include normal newborn rounding, ED consults and attending deliveries. Acute care experience is desired.
