CHOC Children’s Specialists in beautiful Southern California is seeking a full time Pediatric Hospitalist for our community programs. Responsibilities will include providing quality care to pediatric medical and surgical patients, and newborns. Primary placement will be at Pomona Valley Hospital and Medical Center but will also include hospitals in Orange County. This is a teaching position, for pediatric and family practice residents, with faculty appointment. We are a growing program within a large, well established group. Opportunities in quality improvement, safety measures and administrative activities available. All clinical hours are daytime with some night call from home.With 185 pediatric focused physicians, CHOC Children's Specialists is the largest physician group associated with the Children's Hospital of Orange County. CHOC is affiliated with the University of California, Irvine. Candidates must have a MD/DO degree and be BC/BE in Pediatrics. Completion of a fellowship in pediatric hospital medicine or post-residency experience in inpatient pediatric care is preferred but not required.
