The Section of Adolescent Medicine at Levine Children's Hospital, part of Carolinas HealthCare System, is seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic Board Certified / Board Eligible Adolescent Medicine Physician to join the Department of Pediatrics Faculty. This faculty member will provide both primary and subspecialty care at Teen Health Connection, Charlotte’s premier multidisciplinary Adolescent and Young Adult practice. Our growing team consists of one adolescent medicine physician, a physician assistant, a nurse practitioner, social worker, health educator, six therapist and five psychologists. Applicants should have experience providing care to a diverse patient population and demonstrate excellence in clinical care and teaching. Adolescent faculty responsibilities include clinical teaching, delivering lectures, and supervision of medical students and pediatric residents. Additionally, faculty supervises residents on the pediatric inpatient service one weekend per month. The Department encourages multidisciplinary research opportunities and quality improvement design implementation.
