Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel has a full-time or part-time benefited opportunity for a BE/BC Pediatrician to join our primary care medical health team. Our pediatric clinic employs six providers and fills a unique niche in the Portland area as a community-based clinic system associated with a tertiary care children’s hospital. We serve the needs of the families of our diverse and underserved community, as well as the medical home needs of the patients of Randall Children’s Hospital. Our goal is to deliver evidence-based, high-quality, family centered care. This primary care practice is staffed with all registered nurses, 2 full time social workers and a licensed family therapist. The clinic serves as a continuity clinic site for pediatric residents form the Oregon Health & Sciences University (OHSU), and supports service projects in our community. We are looking for a provider who has interest and experience in community-based and preventative health care, and has a passion for advocacy and improving care for all children.
For decades Randall Children’s Hospital has been a regional leader in providing excellent care to infants, children and teens in Portland and the Pacific Northwest and is one of Oregon’s largest providers of pediatric inpatient and trauma services. Randall Children’s Hospital medical staff is made up of more than 600 physicians, including pediatric medical and surgical specialists, hospitalists and community pediatricians. Randall Children’s Hospital receives nearly 100,000 patient visits per year. The Children’s Emergency Department is Oregon’s busiest, with more than 26,000 visits annually. Additionally, there is an inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Program through the Unity Center for Behavioral Health which is a unique collaboration of four healthcare systems within the Portland metro area. Randall Children’s Hospital is a teaching facility for medical students and residents.
