The Department of Pediatrics at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist interested in working as a full time Nocturnist. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing Pediatric Hospitalist program in Flushing, Queens. The ideal candidate will be a pediatrician with an interest in joining a new and developing pediatric hospitalist program to provide clinical services to patients requiring an intermediate level of care. Recent graduates are welcome to apply. Highlights include:
•Provide inpatient care to children on the 20-bed general pediatric floor and the new 4-bed intermediate care unit. No nursery or ED coverage required. •Provide consultations and co-management of surgical sub-specialty patients. •Educate pediatric residents, medical students and PA students both on rounds and in formal lectures. Opportunities are available for leadership and scholarly activities specifically in policy development and quality improvement projects of the intermediate care unit.
