The Department of Pediatrics at NYU School of Medicine is seeking a board certified/board eligible pediatrician to join the pediatric hospitalist group at NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital (formerly NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases). Clinical responsibilities will include medical co-management of the 16-bed pediatric acute inpatient rehabilitation unit, orthopedic pre-operative clearance evaluations, pediatric consultations for the orthopedic urgent care center, and leading the pediatric rapid response team. Other responsibilities will include participation in hospital-related administrative meetings and quality improvement initiatives. Per Diem opportunities available. In addition, there may be opportunities for inpatient pediatric and nursery coverage at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone and NYU Langone Brooklyn.
The ideal candidate will be BC/BE in Pediatrics, possess excellent clinical skills, hold a New York State medical license, and have PALS certification.
