A team approach is taken with diabetes patients, which includes certified diabetes nurse educators, nurse clinicians and a nutritionist. The Department of Pediatrics consists of a group of general pediatricians, a variety of pediatric specialists and associate staff. Our pediatric specialty areas include Allergy/Asthma/Immunology, Critical Care, Behavioral Health, Cardiology, Dentistry, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Genetics, Hematology/Oncology, Neonatology, Surgery, Neurology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Ophthalmology, and Orthopaedic surgery. Pediatric inpatients are cared for on a beautiful new inpatient ward featuring a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit.
