Reading Health Physician Network (RHPN) is seeking a Lactation Specialist to provide
consultative and direct care for the management of breastfeeding mothers and babies. You will oversee the Lactation Support program which includes training lactation resource nurses and peer support staff; act as an advocate for staff members who are breastfeeding through the oversight of the Breastfeeding Pumping station; and provide post-discharge follow-up support as required. Schedule: part-time, two 4-hour shifts per week (occasional weekend days).
ANA-accredited nursing education; BSN preferred
BLS and NRP certification
IBCLC Lactation Specialist designation
1-3 years of experience in mother and infant care post-IBCLC acquisition
Microsoft Word proficiency
