We have a great opportunity for a BC/BE neonatologist who is interested in a medical director opportunity to join our existing group of four neonatologists and four NNPs in Idaho Falls, Idaho.
Our primary facility is Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center which has a state-of-the-art 28-bed Level-IIIB NICU with an ADC of 18.
The medical center has an estimated 1,500 births with approximately 300 NICU admissions annually.
The unit is also designated as a regional neonatal referral center for eastern Idaho, southern Montana, and western Wyoming.
Teaching opportunities are available and residents from Pacific Northwest University go on teaching rounds with our staff.
Neonatologists provide out-of-house call and services offered include HFOV, nitric oxide and cooling.
Members of the group living in Pocatello, Idaho also provide coverage at Portneuf Medical Center.
The facility at Portneuf Medical Center is a new state-of-the-art 16-bed Level IIIA NICU with an estimated 1,200 births and approximately 240 NICU admissions annually.
In addition, neonatologists provide consultative services to the 14-bed Level-IIB NICU at Madison Memorial Hospital in Rexburg, Idaho, approximately 30 miles north of Idaho Falls.
