Fort HealthCare/Fort Medical Group in Fort Atkinson, WI, is seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician for a traditional practice:
Full-time, 4 days a week
Join three Pediatricians and two Pediatric Nurse Practitioners in providing general outpatient pediatric care.
Pediatricians also attend C-sections and complicated deliveries, round in the newborn nursery, and admit pediatric inpatients. Call would be 1:4.
Our pediatric providers average between 15-22 outpatient visits daily.

ED is staffed 24/7 by EM-trained physicians and mid-level providers. Fort Medical Group, a wholly owned for-profit subsidiary of Fort HealthCare Inc., consists of 50 physicians and 11 mid-level providers in multiple specialties (internal medicine, family medicine, Ob/Gyn, general surgery, ENT, urology, orthopedics, dermatology, behavioral health, radiology, and wound care) conducting clinics in Fort Atkinson and 12 surrounding communities.

Fort Medical Group is part of Fort Health Care, which also encompasses Fort Memorial Hospital, FortCare Provider Network and Fort Memorial Hospital Foundation. FHC provides quality health care to the residents of an eight-community area, and is the largest health care provider in Jefferson County. Fort Memorial Hospital is a 82-bed, not-for-profit, independent, community owned hospital that opened a brand new, $33 million expansion in November, 2009. This expansion brought new med/surg/pediatrics wing, OB/GYN unit, emergency department and radiology department. The radiology department includes a new 64-slice GE CAT scan and one of only a few 3.0 tesla MRIs in the state of Wisconsin. Our OR has six surgical suites and is staffed by what our surgeons feel is an excellent OR staff and anesthesia department. The nursing staff consists of RNs and surgical techs. We have eight hardwire ICU beds and 12 intermediate care beds with telemetry. Our ED is staffed 24 hours by board-certified, EM trained physicians. Some services Fort Hospital offers are fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine, mobile lithotripsy, stress testing, cardiac rehab Phase II, echocardiography, occupational medicine, endoscopy and a full rehab department. Fort HealthCare is also a joint venture partner with the University of Wisconsin Hospital & Medical Foundation and another nearby community hospital in a cancer center opened 2005 in Johnson Creek in the northern area of our service area. Through this joint venture, we are able to offer the highest quality cancer treatment with chemotherapy and/or radiation therapy.
