Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Manager of Surgery Scheduling and Periop Staffing Office at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA\.
The Perioperative Staffing and Scheduling Manager is accountable for the overall management and operational activities of the Periop Staffing Office/Surgery Scheduling department\.
In this position you will:
Responsible for the overall management and leadership for OR scheduling, employee staffing and timekeeping activities\.
Monitor/analyze daily workload, productivity, and report to Director\.
Must have knowledge of surgery scheduling, including complex inpatient surgeries and other perioperative procedures\.
Knowledge of surgical coding, CSSD interface, preference cards, and OR equipment needs\.
Able to coordinate surgery schedule with OR staffing\.
Works alongside Managers and Directors within Perioperative Services\.
Support leadership in monitoring contract labor usage\.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing;
Current License to practice as a Registered Nurse \(RN\) in the State of Washington
3 years OR experience required
Proficiency or certification in one or more EPIC applications
Recent first line management experience
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Masters degree in Nursing
Knowledge of Direct Scheduling via EPIC
