The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Human Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for several Assistant or Associate Professor positions in either the non-tenure clinician-educator track or the tenure track. Applicants must have an M.D or M.D./Ph.D. degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in research, clinical care, and education. Candidates must be certified or board certified/eligible in Clinical Genetics by the American Board of Medical Genetics.
Responsibilities will be predominately research-focused while clinical effort will be dependent on the candidate’s interest and funding opportunities. Clinical duties will include providing outpatient and inpatient consultative services, along with participation in the clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows. Evidence of scholarship is required for both the clinician-educator and tenure track.
