The University of Minnesota, Department of Pediatrics, seeks an academic endocrinologist for a full-time faculty position in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology. The rank of this position is at the level of Assistant on the Tenure-Track.
Essential qualifications: MD or DO and Board certified or Board eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology. Research training in the field of pediatric and adult obesity medicine.
Requirements: Clinical responsibilities include pediatric weight management clinics, pediatric endocrine clinics, adult endocrine clinics and pediatric endocrine inpatient service. Research responsibilities include the development of an independent, extramurally-funded research program; participation in the teaching of medical students, graduate students, and university undergraduates; establishment of a well-defined research career that is self-supporting and well-integrated with other investigators within the Department and Medical School.
