We are seeking a highly motived general BC/BE pediatrician to join our team. Peak Pediatrics is dedicated to providing high-quality care to children regardless of socio-economic background and insurance. We take pride in providing a wide range of resources for our families including social work, behavioral and mental health, and care coordination for families with complex needs.
Our Peak Provider team comprises of four physicians, eight mid-level providers, and two behavioral health specialists. Your responsibilities will include four days of outpatient primary/acute care, one of which will include rounding in a community hospital (Lutheran Medical Center) that includes newborn nursery and basic NICU and pediatric hospital medicine.
You will share overnight and weekend call with four other physicians. We have an after-hours nurse triage system, and physicians are not first call for most concerns. Our practice utilizes the Epic EMR system, and providers are supported by RN triage and a centralized call center.
Ideally, the candidate would be comfortable managing basic mental health concerns including ADHD, anxiety and depression. We also see medically complex patients and work closely with local specialists.
