The Division of Hospital Medicine at Connecticut Children’s Medical Center continues to grow and has a new opening for a full-time faculty member. The Division has 13 hospitalists based at the main 187-bed children’s hospital in Hartford, plus 4 hospitalists based in community hospital settings at our regional sites. We oversee over 20 APRNs and PAs in our different inpatient locations as well. Members of the Division hold leadership positions in the areas of Medical Education, Quality Improvement and Administration. We are increasingly involved in clinical and quality related research. The new position is based at Connecticut Children's Medical Center in Hartford, but includes satellite coverage at our St. Mary’s unit in Waterbury, CT. The role is primarily a day role, with some evening shift work as well. Excellent clinical, teaching and collaborative skills are a must. Experienced candidates and those with Fellowship training are preferred, however we will also consider top flight new graduates.
