The Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, a 550+ bed institution, is currently seeking full-time Staff Physician/Hospitalists for our inpatient Oncology Unit.
Applicants are not required to be hem/onc trained and no oncology background is required. General pediatric trained or medical/pediatric physicians are welcome. Training is provided. Hospitalists help provide supportive care to pediatric and young adult patients admitted to the inpatient units. They work in conjunction with the attending oncology physician providing the patient’s day to day care and management of complex and acutely ill patients. Hospitalists work in the context of a multidisciplinary team with nutritionists, pharmacists, social workers, care managers, child life, PT/OT and nursing.
The Oncology Program in the Cancer and Blood Diseases Institute at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is an international leader. Work Schedules will include day and night shifts in addition to weekend and holiday rotations (7 on, 7 off). Straight night shifts is also an option (with higher base compensation).
