Neonatology & Newborn Medicine Massachusetts General Hospital
The Division of Neonatology and Newborn Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is seeking candidates for a full-time clinical neonatologist position to provide clinical care and serve as medical director of the newborn service in an MassGeneral for Children affiliated 10-bed level II NICU in Good Samaritan Medical center in Brockton, Massachusetts. Good Samaritan Medical Center has active labor and delivery room service supported by MFM with approximately 1200 deliveries per year and 150 SCN admissions. This position will also include clinical service at an affiliated 18-bed level III NICU in St. Elizabeth’s Medical in Boston, Massachusetts.
Requirements include an MD or equivalent degree, eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Massachusetts, and being board certified or board eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine. Background in quality improvement and clinical research, along with strong organizational skills are preferred.
This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a group of pediatric and neonatal providers in the community setting and to serve in a leadership position in a rapidly growing hospital network.
