The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the Division of Neonatology and Newborn Services in the Department of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Full or Associate Professor positions in the non-tenure academic-clinician, clinician-educator and research tracks. We also seek candidates in the tenure track. Applicants must have an MD or MD/PhD or equivalent degree and have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, clinical care or research. Candidates must be board certified/eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics or Internal Medicine for the tenure and research tracks.
Academic Clinician Track - Clinical duties will focus on providing outstanding clinical care, excellence in teaching, and productivity in program development. Clinical care will be provided in the 100 bed Level IV NICU at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the 40 bed Level III NICU at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, as well as in the Neonatal Follow-Up Program. Duties also include providing outpatient and inpatient consultative services, along with participation in the clinical education of medical students, residents and fellows.
