The Department of Pediatrics, School of Medicine at The University of Alabama at Birmingham announces a full-time, regular, twelve-month faculty position with corresponding administrative responsibilities within the Division of Academic General Pediatrics. Faculty rank and tenure is commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position incorporates clinical, interdisciplinary teaching, community activities, and may include some research. Applicants must have MD and be BC/BE in Pediatrics. The ideal candidate will have experience in academic medicine. The successful candidate will be involved in graduate medical education activities through clinical education.
The UAB Division of Academic General Pediatrics at Children's of Alabama has excelled in each of its unique roles of teaching and clinical care responsibilities of the medical center. Faculty in General Pediatrics coordinate care provided by residents and students in a variety of clinics ranging from primary care to specialty services through UAB and Children's of Alabama.
