The Department of Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics, Hospital Medicine Section, University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine is seeking a physician who is Board Certified or eligible in Pediatrics for a 12-month full time, non-academic Pediatric Nocturnist Hospitalist Physician for 12 hour night shifts from 7 pm to 7 am. This position is based at St. Joseph's Children's Hospital in Tampa, Florida. A Florida medical license will be required prior to assuming the position. The appointment is non-tenure earning, and salary is negotiable.

POSITION SUMMARY: This position includes the management of pediatric patients at the St. Joseph's Children's Hospital for 12 hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am Other duties as assigned.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: MINIMUM: The successful candidate must have a medical degree, and be board certified or eligible in pediatrics. Candidates must have a current medical license or be eligible for an unrestricted full medical license in the state of Florida. Doctoral degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant Professor. PREFERRED: Inpatient hospital experience
