The successful candidate will direct the medical management of cardiac patients requiring intensive care and of patients having undergone surgery for congenital and/or acquired heart disease. The primary site of practice will be Children’s Hospital New Orleans. The intensive care team will work in conjunction with pediatric cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons and other subspecialists, in the management of patients.
