Provides direct clinical care in accordance with highest applicable standards of medical practices, in full accordance with health center policies and protocols. Maintains accurate medical records through our electronic health records system. Assists with day to day oversight of pediatric NPs and PAs. Assists with implementation of site quality improvement initiatives.
Must be in possession of a valid license to practice in the State of California (or ability to obtain), including DEA license, and CPR. Candidates must be Board Certified (or Board eligible) in designated primary care specialty field of practice. Experience working with an EHR system (NextGen preferred)\ Bilingual in Spanish

Have a thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of medicine and allied services commensurate with his/her training. Demonstrated ability to build the trust and respect of patients, staff, colleagues, external contacts, and other organizational members. Good problem solving skills required, including creativity, resourcefulness, timeliness, and technical knowledge related to analyzing and resolving medical problems. Willingness and ability to work periodic evenings and/or weekends, as needed. The ideal candidate must be dedicated to building a collaborative team model of care, and ideally experienced working with the under-served.
