The Division of Child and Adolescent Health at the University Of Miami Miller School Of Medicine is seeking a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician with a focused interest in care of children with developmental and behavioral problems, and teaching of pediatric medical students, residents, and fellows.
Candidate must have a medical degree, be board certified/eligible in pediatrics as well as Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics and have/obtain a Florida medical license. The position is at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics. The selected candidate will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with developmental and/or behavioral problems in an academic medical center on a full time basis. In addition to clinical care, responsibilities include teaching Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics to resident physicians, DBP fellows, and medical students. In addition, the candidate should have an interest/experience in administration of fellowship training. The individual must have excellent verbal and written skills in English. Fluency in Spanish, Creole, and/or French is desired, but not required.
