Palliative Care looking for pediatric staff physician
The Division of Palliative Care at Cincinnati Children’s has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for a pediatric physician that is BE/BC in Hospice and Palliative Medicine to join their Palliative Care Team.
Cincinnati Children’s ranked number 2 among all Honor Roll hospitals and in the top-10 of all 10 specialties ranked in the 2018-2019 U.S. News & World Report survey of best children’s hospitals.
The interdisciplinary team provides high quality palliative care in the form of expert symptom management, communication, and decision-making. Inpatient settings include neonatal, cardiac and pediatric intensive care units as well neurology, oncology and general pediatrics units. The division provides support to many specialized programs including the Fetal Care Center, Cardiac and Lung Transplant Program, and the Complex Care Center. The Palliative Care Division offers palliative care across all care settings including inpatient, outpatient, and a large home-based palliative program in the Cincinnati area.
Requirements: •Board certification in pediatrics •Fellowship Trained for ABMS Certification in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and BE/BC •Eligible to obtain an unrestricted medical license in Ohio •Approval from Cincinnati Children’s Medical Staff Services •Ohio Medical License or able to meet the requirements •DEA License
