The Division of Neonatology and Newborn Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is seeking candidates for a full or part-time clinical faculty neonatologist to provide clinical care in the MassGeneral for Children affiliated neonatal network. Clinical responsibility includes coverage in one of the Level II Special Care Nurseries and in the St. Elizabeth Medical Center’s Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Brighton, MA.
The successful candidate will be based and work closely with a well-established group of neonatologists and pediatric hospitalists providing coverage in our network. The network includes the thriving 18 bed level III NICU at St. Elizabeth’s, 10 bed SCN at Good Samaritan Medical Center, Brockton and 10 bed SCN in Holy Family Medical Center, Methuen . The dynamic group of dedicated providers enjoys clinical support from pediatric surgical subspecialties from MGHfC and an active neonatal transport program.
This clinical position will provide excellent opportunities to be involved in quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with MGH. Interest in clinically related research is welcome.
The position offers competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. Experienced physician preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply. Requirements include an MD or equivalent degree, eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Massachusetts, and board certified or board eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
