Owensboro Health Medical Group in Owensboro, Kentucky is seeking a BE/BC pediatric hospitalist to join our established and comprehensive program located in the system’s flagship facility, Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, which is licensed for 477 beds and opened in 2013.
The ideal candidate for this will be a team player who will support our goal of providing outstanding dedication to patient service, safety, and quality. Owensboro Health is a nonprofit organization with a strong physician leadership involvement and a medical group consisting of over 200 providers.
Qualified candidate to provide coverage for our Inpatient Pediatric Unit
No newborn nursery or NICU coverage
Daily census averages four per day, with a range of 0 to 12
Informal pediatric sub-specialty support available by phone
Minimum of seventy-two, 24-Hour shifts per year with opportunity for more
$1,200 per shift
Flexible schedule: three to four days on, two weeks off
Many board-certified outpatient pediatricians reside in our community
Hospitalist group is employed by Owensboro Health
