The University of New Mexico Health Sciences Center, affiliated with the Children’s Hospital of New Mexico, is seeking an Assistant/Associate/Full Professor, Open Rank. Track and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The Division of Neonatology provides patient care in a culturally diverse, family-centered 52 bed NICU in a beautiful Children’s Hospital that opened in 2007. As the premier medical center in the state, we offer a full-service NICU facility, an ECMO program, a high-risk perinatal unit, air and ground transport services statewide, a fellowship program, and a sophisticated developmental follow-up program. The Division is a member of the NICHD Neonatal Research Network, and has numerous other active research programs in place. UNM Health Sciences Center has an NIH-funded Clinical and Translational Science Center with a long-standing pediatric and neonatal component, is a nationally recognized leader in medical education and a major center for health care and research. Must be authorized to work in the United States Able to obtain state licensure(s) in the state of New Mexico Completion of a fellowship in Neonatology by time of hire BC/BE in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine by time of hire
Record of teaching experience (fellows, house staff, and medical students) Experience in research and/or quality improvement Experience in the care and management of sick newborns
