The Division of Neonatology and Newborn Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGHfC) is seeking candidates for a full or part time clinical faculty pediatric hospitalist. This position will be based at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, New Hampshire, one of MGHfC's clinical affiliates in our growing Southern NH Network. Exeter Hospital is a 100-bed community hospital with approximately 650 deliveries annually, located about one hour from Boston.
The pediatric hospitalist group will provide clinical care in the level I newborn nursery, the inpatient pediatric unit, and consultations in the ED at Exeter Hospital. The clinical coverage includes time in-house rounding each morning, with call coverage supporting the delivery service provided from home. The team at Exeter Hospital will enjoy clinical support from pediatric subspecialties at MGHfC and an active neonatal transport program.
This clinical position will provide excellent opportunities to be involved in quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with MGHfC as well as participation in MGH-based academic activities including MGHfC Grand Rounds and conferences.
This position will become available July 1, 2020 (flexible start date) and will remain open until filled. Moonlighting opportunities are also available.
