Atrium Health Levine Children’s is seeking full time experienced physicians to join our team of 14 faculty pediatric hospitalists on staff. Candidates must be board certified or board eligible (if new grads) and preference will be given to candidates that are PHM subspecialty board eligible.
The first opportunity is a Nocturnist position at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Jeff Gordon Children’s Center in Concord, NC, providing inpatient clinical care. Candidates must be Board Certified with a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience outside of training. Jeff Gordon Children’s Center (JGCC), located within 420 bed Atrium Health Cabarrus, is a 53-bed children’s hospital within Atrium Health that serves Cabarrus and the surrounding counties to deliver inpatient and sub-specialty care to the pediatric patients of that community. The children’s hospital has a general pediatric unit, Progressive Care Unit, and a 25 bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. JGCC is home to the regions only dedicated pediatric Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) and is a Level 3 EMU designated by the National Association for Epilepsy Centers. JGCH also has a Children’s Advocacy Center that is accredited through National Children’s Alliance and serves pediatric victims of physical and/or sexual abuse.
The second opportunity is at Atrium Health Cleveland and would be a combination of days and nights, with nights not having to be in house but being within a 30 minute radius. This facility has more of a rural hospital feel in the tight knit Shelby, NC community. Atrium Health Cleveland is a 241-bed hospital serving greater Cleveland County, NC, and the surrounding region. It includes a Level III trauma center as well as comprehensive maternity services.
