Hospitalist Positions in the Division of Neonatology Children’s Hospital Los Angeles
The Fetal and Neonatal Institute and the CHLA Division of Neonatology of the Department of Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles are seeking candidates for 5 Neonatal Hospitalist positions. Neonatal Hospitalists provide clinical service in our 58-bed, level IV state-of-the-art Newborn and Infant Critical Care Unit at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. Each Hospitalist is integrated into our team and cares for patients under the supervision of a neonatologist. Hospitalists will provide an average of 3-4 shifts per week which may include days, nights, and weekends (12-15 hour shifts). An option to take additional shifts is possible for additional income but not mandatory.
Potential candidates are expected to hold an MD or DO degree, be board certified/eligible in Pediatrics and have some experience in clinical neonatology. Strong communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a complex, high-intensity environment is desirable. Clinicians will receive training as required to provide excellent care to a diverse spectrum of neonatal diseases. We offer competitive salary and excellent benefits.
