Massachusetts General Hospital Pediatric Hospitalist
The Division of Neonatology and Newborn Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGHfC) is seeking candidates for a full or part time clinical faculty pediatric hospitalist. This position will be based at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, New Hampshire, one of MGHfC's clinical affiliates in our growing Southern NH network. Exeter Hospital is a 100-bed community hospital with approximately 650 deliveries annually, located about one hour from Boston.
The pediatric hospital group will provide clinical care in the level I newborn nursery, the inpatient pediatric unit, in the Emergency Department at Exeter Hospital and will attend high-risk deliveries as requested by OB colleagues. The service will provide 24/7 in-house coverage by a pediatric hospitalist or pediatric nurse practitioner and schedules will include a mix of daytime, overnight and weekend shifts. The team at Exeter will enjoy clinical support from pediatric subspecialties at MGHfC and active neonatal and pediatric transport programs.
This clinical position will provide excellent opportunities to be involved in quality improvement initiatives in collaboration with MGHfC as well as participation in MGH-based academic activities including MGHfC Pediatric Grand Rounds and conferences.
This position will become available July 1, 2020 (flexible start date) and will remain open until filled. Moonlighting opportunities are also available.
