Plymouth Pediatric Associates, a well-established, collegial, independent, physician-owned pediatric practice is seeking a full time pediatrician with the opportunity for Partnership. The position is a career opportunity as we look to invest in the next generation of pediatricians to carry on the PPA’s legacy in the community. PPA was established in the 1960s and includes 6 physicians, 5 nurse practitioners and 2 behavioral health consultants. PPA is a member of the Pediatric Physicians' Organization at Children's Hospital (PPOC) a Network of 84 pediatric practices across Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island focused on professional development, quality and professional networking. The new pediatrician will provide continuity of care by managing their own panel of patients. Other responsibilities include limited newborn rounding and after-hours urgent care. The position is 4 days a week and urgent care on-call shared by 6 physicians. There are no pediatric inpatient, emergency room or delivery room responsibilities. The position is 4 days a week, requires urgent care on-call but no Pediatric inpatient, emergency room or delivery room responsibilities. Call is shared by 8 physicians.
Minimum Requirements: Must be a BC/BE graduate of an accredited school of medicine and have completed a three year U.S. pediatric residency program. Maintain current license to practice medicine in the State of Massachusetts, a valid Massachusetts Controlled Substances and Federal DEA Certificate.
