MercyOne Children’s Hospital, located in Des Moines, Iowa is an accredited level II Pediatric Trauma Center and has Central Iowa’s only Pediatric Cardiovascular Surgery Program. With a tertiary service area of nearly 1.5 million, it’s a 44-bed Level II NICU, 19-bed unit PICU, 13-bed Pediatric Emergency Department and 22-bed Medical/Surgical Unit, MercyOne Children’s Hospital draws families near and far. It offers secondary level health care to residents in eight different counties. Ottumwa Regional is a full-service health center, offering services in emergency medicine, critical care services, medical/surgical, acute rehabilitation, obstetrics, pediatrics and some specialty services such as cardiac cath, diagnostic and therapeutic radiological services, wound care, pain clinic, sleep lab, pathology and more.
