St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children is currently recruiting a Pediatric Critical Care Intensivist to join our growing team. The selected candidate will join our current team of six physicians and eight nurse practitioners. Our busy state-of-art, multidisciplinary pediatric intensive care unit consists of 26 beds located in the newly constructed Critical Care tower. Our team provides 24-7 in house coverage.
St. Christopher’s Hospital is an ACS verified level 1 pediatric trauma/burn center. We have received the Center of Excellence award from ELSO for the past 5 consecutive years. We have an active renal transplant program and offer dialysis, among other high-tech therapies.
St. Christopher’s is a teaching hospital helping to train the next generation of professionals in pediatric medicine through our competitive pediatric residency program and multiple subspecialty fellowship programs. The section of Critical Care provides educational activities for residents of 7 hospitals, as well as an academic fellowship program, which currently consist of three fellows. Other programs supported by the section are a nursing critical care course, burn course, and simulation cases, along with bedside didactic teaching and supervision for medical students, residents, and fellows.

• Doctor of Medicine degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) and qualify for appointment as Assistant/Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Drexel University College of Medicine • BE/BC Pediatric Critical Care, with accredited fellowship training in Pediatric Critical Care • Hold or be eligible for an unrestricted and unchallenged license to practice medicine in the state of Pennsylvania • Faculty rank will be commensurate with experience • Valid DEA Licensure
