Established primary care group with partnership opportunity is seeking an EXPERIENCED Pediatrician to manage and work in our PEDIATRIC URGENT CARE clinic located in Meridian, Idaho, a suburb of Boise. The clinic is a state of the art facility built in 2019 and is the only pediatric urgent care in southwestern Idaho.
This clinic is currently open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., but hours could be changing to 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., 7 days per week.
The position will be 60-70% clinical and 30-40% managerial. Management responsibilities would include: 1. Training of new pediatric UC and general UC providers including didactic common general pediatric topics, ongoing chart reviews and on-site mentoring. 2. Pediatric best practice dissemination. 3. Continuing education. 5. Input into provider and back office pediatric UC staff hiring. 6. Input into strategic planning on pediatric UC issues. Must be comfortable with the fast-paced environment of an urgent care. Boise offers a complete complement of sub-specialties for support and a very competitive compensation package.
