Norton Children’s Medical Group, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine, is the pediatric provider division of Norton Medical Group. Norton Children’s Medical Group employs more than 400 medical providers who work in over 170 locations in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. To support the community’s need for expanded care, Norton Children’s Medical Group encompasses all pediatric care, including inpatient, outpatient, primary and specialty care. Patients have access to multidisciplinary resources through Norton Medical Group’s extensive network of primary and specialty care practices, as well as Norton Children’s Hospital, Norton Women’s & Children’s Hospital, Norton Children’s Medical Center and the Novak Center for Children’s Health. We are actively recruiting full time pediatric primary care physicians to join our Shepherdsville (located within 30 minutes of Louisville) and Frankfort (located within 1 hour of both Louisville and Lexington) locations in Kentucky. Float pool opportunities are also available. The University of Louisville School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics has more than 20 sections and divisions with more
than 200 faculty members and 60 advanced practice providers. Clinical faculty members oversee the majority of general
and subspecialty care at Norton Children’s Hospital. Norton Children’s Hospital is the teaching facility for the University of
Louisville, and candidate academic responsibilities will include active involvement in teaching medical students an...d residents, as well as clinical research interests. The Cardiovascular Innovation Institute supports basic and translational science, including cardiac tissue engineering and innovative mechanical assist device design, bench-top testing, and large animal testing. Current devices in development and testing include respiratory and ventricular assist devices scaled to pediatric patients.
