Franciscan Children’s Post Acute Care Inpatient Program is Hiring Moonlighters for day, night and weekend coverage! Children who are and recovering from a serious injury or illness come to Franciscans to take part in our pediatric rehab programs. Patients at Franciscans are stabilized from their critical illness to participate in therapy and parent education programs to support recovery and a safe discharge home. The patients we care for have complex medical conditions including patients with feeding dysfunction requiring g and/or j tubes, acute injury requiring rehabilitation services, and chronic lung disease requiring ventilator support. Moonlighters typically commit to cover 2 week nights (6pm-8am) and one 24h weekend night a month. Additional part-time shifts may be available. If a moonlighter needs to leave earlier than 8am this can be arranged. We provide orientation and educational opportunities to support confidence managing patients with complex medical needs and ventilator support.
