Unique Opportunity for Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Hospitalists
The Texas Children’s Hospital/Baylor College of Medicine’s Section of Pediatric Hospital Medicine (PHM) is recruiting qualified applicants to be part of a new service that will offer primary inpatient coverage to patients with adolescent and adult congenital heart disease and consultative services for adult patients hospitalized at Texas Children’s Hospital Main Campus for other medical conditions. This is a unique opportunity to be part of the inaugural group of a new service line. This is an ideal position for a recent graduate or experienced inpatient physician and will offer qualified candidates the ability to offer inpatient care to both children and adults at ONE single institution.
Qualifications: BE/BC in both internal medicine and pediatrics is a requirement. Board certification in pediatric hospital medicine will NOT be a requirement.
Candidates for this position should possess excellent clinical skills and have an interest in scholarly pursuits in education, clinical research, and/or quality improvement science.
