The Yale University School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, is seeking a full-time neonatologist on the clinical track at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, based on experience and qualifications. This position will involve clinical time in a community NICU in Waterbury, Connecticut, as well as clinical time in the level 4 NICU at Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. The unit in Waterbury cares for medical patients 28 weeks and above and is covered in-house 24/7 by APPs. The unit in New Haven is a large level 4 academic unit providing care for patients with all medical and surgical neonatal diagnoses. There is an active neonatology fellowship and pediatrics residency, and a significant teaching component to this position. Interest in participation in the neonatal follow-up program is desirable, as is interest in participation in the ECMO service, though prior experience in either is not required. There would be ample time allotted for the right candidate to pursue additional academic activities as desired.
