AMBULATORY CARE NURSE II -DPC-HOLLY SPRINGS PEDIATRIC PRIMARY CARE -FT Pediatric Primary Care Services-Become part of a Dynamic Pediatric Team; Nurses with Pediatric experience preferred!!The medical team at Duke Primary Care Pediatrics at Holly Springs include board-certified pediatricians who see newborns, children, teens, and adolescents for the following reasons:
Our nurses are available by phone 24/7 for advice on non-life-threatening illnesses. We offer lactation consultations with certified lactation consultants to assist with breastfeeding concerns. We can share guidance on all aspects of breastfeeding, and we offer a private room where you can feed your baby while consulting with our nurse. Specialty ReferralsWhen necessary, your child's primary care doctor can make referrals for specialty care with Duke's network of specialists. No matter who your child sees at Duke Health, their care will be coordinated through Duke MyChart , our electronic medical records system, which is accessible to every doctor and every facility at Duke. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Knowledge of scope of the registered nurse, licensed care for patients in ambulatory clinic settings in accordance with the medical and nursing plans of care and established policies and procedures. Provide nursing services to patients and families in accordance with the scope of the RN as defined by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. Work Performed
