PEDIATRIC PULMONOLOGY PHYSICIAN JOSEPH M. SANZARI CHILDREN’S HOSPITAL HACKENSACK UNIVERSITY MEDICAL CENTER
The Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center is expanding the Pediatric Pulmonology Department. We are seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Pulmonologist to expand our rare pediatric lung diseases and recalcitrant asthma programs. An interest in Allergy/Immunology is a plus.
Opportunity Highlights
Provide outstanding inpatient and outpatient care
Work with the four full-time Pediatric Pulmonologists
Dedicated and specialty trained nurses and respiratory therapists
Pediatric Pulmonary Function and Sleep Laboratories
Teaching medical students and residents
Involvement in quality improvement initiatives
Coordinate/work with interdisciplinary teams
24/7 Pediatric Emergency Department and PICU in house attending coverage
Research opportunities
Qualifications
Active New Jersey medical license
Excellent skills, both inpatient care and teaching
Team player, positive attitude, highly motivated
Strong interpersonal skills
Interpretation of pulmonary function tests
Expertise in Pediatric flexible bronchoscopy
Be eligible for faculty appointment at the Hackensack Meridian Health School of Medicine
