Our general pediatric practice, Drs Bedingfield and Rosewell SC, is inquiring into pediatricians/residents who would be interested in joining a group practice in the northwest suburbs of Chicago.
Our practice is located in Hoffman Estates, very near the intersection of I-90 (the Northwest Tollway) and Barrington Road. We currently have five pediatricians and two pediatric nurse practitioners. We are on staff at Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights and AMITA Health Women and Children's Hospital, Hoffman Estates. We also are associated with Lurie Children's Hospital (originally as Children's Memorial Hospital) since 1982. Through this affiliation, we are charter members of both the Lurie Children's Hospital Community Physician's Group and the Lurie Children's Health Partners Clinically Integrated Network.
This practice has been part of the community for over 35 years and takes pride in the service we provide, with an enhanced emphasis on the social-emotional aspects of pediatrics and a genuine interest in the whole child. We care for a variety of children, from healthy to medically complex. We have long-provided in-office psychology, lactation, and dietary consultations. Finally, we are proud to announce we were recently voted the "2020 Best of the Best Pediatric Practice" in the Reader's Choice competition sponsored by the Daily Herald, a Northwest Suburban newspaper.
Dr Bruce Bedingfield, the founding physician of our practice, retired fall of 2020. We anticipate hiring a BC/BE general pediatrician to begin mid-year 2021. Responsibilities would include general pediatric and adolescent well care and sick visits as well as hospital rounds on newborns. Office hours would consist of four days a week and alternating Saturdays. The practice provides 100% employer provided medical malpractice reimbursement. Dr Bedingfield was part-owner of the practice, so a physician interested in practice management and eventual part-ownership would be ideal, though not required.
