Merritt Hawkins invites you to explore a wonderful opportunity to join a newly funded child maltreatment program that will focus on training all disciplines pertaining to the delivery of services for abused children. We are seeking candidates who are fellowship-trained in child abuse and have an interest in establishing a program to benefit the local community.
-Help grow the outpatient child maltreatment program and participate in inpatient clinical consultations and resident education
-Opportunity to support 13 child advocacy centers in the region through training, consultation, program development, program evaluation, and placement of trainees at the CACs to provide direct care to abused children and their families
-Work with the colleges, universities, and medical/nurse training programs in the region in supervising and teaching their students, and in developing curricula related to child abuse skills
-Opportunity to start a child abuse fellowship in the future
