Description Nursing Manager of Nursing Informatic Services Requisition Number - 2101254 Your role: The manager of Nursing Informatics Services is responsible for a team of RN nursing informatic specialists (VNIS) that provide support to nurses across all of the entities in all sites to assist in use of technology to provide the safest and most efficient care to our patients. Inpatient, Periop/procedural and Ambulatory Adult nursing staff are the key customers. Each VNIS has a cohort of areas of support and informatics related projected (BCMA, Mobile Heart Beat, Rover, etc) that the manager coordinates and assumes operational accountability. The manager is responsible for collaborating with other support teams, training teams and technical teams to assure implementation of informatics related initiates - this does require occasional weekend or off shift hours and at time travel to community acquired sites. Preferred qualifications: Ideal Candidate Master of Nursing and Experience in Ambulatory Nursing Leadership Preferred MSN Nursing Informatics and Board Certification in Informatics Department/Unit Summary: The Department of Pharmaceutical Services provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care services to Vanderbilt University Hospital (VUH), Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt (Children's Hospital), Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital (VPH) and The Vanderbilt Medical Group (VMG). This patient-centered service is provided through the Patient Care Center organization and clinic structure.
