The Clinical Surgery Reviewer's chief responsibility is to collect and submit reliable data to the ACS NSQIP. This is accomplished through high quality data compilation, documentation and entry into the NS QIP database of all eligible surgeries for the hospital. The SCR works closely with the members of the Department of Surgery to identify opportunities for clinical quality improvement. Other special projects may be identified. Committee work is a key component of this position.
Up to 10k Sign on Bonus based on Experience.
Qualifications:
Education
Required: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelors or Masters degree)
Certifications
Required: Must be currently RN State of Florida.
Experience:Minimum 1 year experience in hospital surgery department, research or medical records preferred. Computer and internet experience required. Familiarity with MS Office- Word and Excel required. Database data entry and/or management experience preferred. Basic statistical knowledge preferred. Quality improvement or patient safety knowledge and experience preferred
