Our nurses are available by phone 24/7 for advice on non-life-threatening illnesses. We offer lactation consultations with certified lactation consultants to assist with breastfeeding concerns. We can share guidance on all aspects of breastfeeding, and we offer a private room where you can feed your baby while consulting with our nurse. Specialty ReferralsWhen necessary, your child's primary care doctor can make referrals for specialty care with Duke's network of specialists. No matter who your child sees at Duke Health, their care will be coordinated through Duke MyChart , our electronic medical records system, which is accessible to every doctor and every facility at Duke.
